Updating the CLI

The CLI may get new versions that require developers to reinstall for an updated version.

Uninstall the CLI​

The CLI can be uninstalled by deleting the CLI folder.

note

Deleting the CLI folder is not required for reinstallation but can be done to ensure a clean reinstall.

CLI Folder Path​

Mac users can find the CLI folder in the path: /usr/local/com.genies

Windows users can find the CLI folder in the path: \AppData\LocalLow\com.genies

Download and Install the CLI​

Reinstalling the CLI requires you to download and install the CLI.

Follow the instructions from the Getting Started tutorial to download the newest CLI and install it on your computer.
