Updating the CLI

The CLI may get new versions that require developers to reinstall for an updated version.

Uninstall the CLI​

The CLI can be uninstalled by deleting the CLI folders.

Mac CLI Folder Path​

Mac users can find the CLI folder in the path: /usr/local/com.genies

Windows CLI Folder Paths​

Windows users will need to delete three CLI folders:

  • \AppData\LocalLow\com.genies
  • \AppData\LocalLow\Genies
  • C:\Program Files\Genies, Inc

CLI Path

Download and Install the CLI​

Reinstalling the CLI requires you to download and install the CLI.

Follow the instructions from the Getting Started tutorial to download the newest CLI and install it on your computer.
